Senior Data Engineer-SQL Server or Oracle, Stored Procedures, MS BI Stack- Salary £40,000 - £60,000 - Nottingham

The company: A large retailer who pride themselves on development and progression of their staff throughout the entire company. They describe themselves as unique in the retail world and are now seeking a Senior Data Engineer with experience of SQL Server or Oracle, Stored Procedures and MS BI Stack to be a part of the team.

The role: The successful Senior Data Engineer will engineer new and existing data models and platforms and collaborating with the development team using your excellent knowledge and experience of SQL Server or Oracle, Stored Procedures and MS BI Stack. You will also mentor, support and assist other team members and departments in the business where needed. The ideal candidate will have three years' experience as a Data Engineer with the skills of SQL Server or Oracle, Stored Procedures and MS BI Stack.

Skills:

* 3 years' experience in SQL Server or Oracle

* MS BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)

* Stored Procedures

* Knowledge of .NET, PowerShell, C#, Spark

* MS Azure

Nice to have skills:

* Practical understanding of Cloud computing

* Big data experience

* Knowledge of GDPR
