Manufacturing Production Scheduling and Planning Coordinator
Nottinghamshire, commutable from Newark, Nottingham, Mansfield, Lincoln, Grantham. Worksop, Sleaford
£21-28K Basic plus contributory pension, life assurance, childcare vouchers, 25 days holiday
8.30am-4.30am Mon-Thurs, 8am-4pm Friday.
Are you from a manufacturing background with excellent organisational and data analysis skills looking for a challenging and fast-paced position with a large multinational manufacturer? This is a important role within the site and offers the opportunity for medium to long term progression.
The role may suit a Senior Administrator, scheduler, planner or stock controller who has an assertive character and can communicate the needs of the business to the separate departments.
The company is investing in their already profitable site, so you will be provided with training and a stable environment.
The role will involve the control and progression of all necessary parts and components required to achieve each month's production plan.
Therefore tasks will include:
1.Generate information and run reports from the Resource Planning System and subsequently raise work orders accordingly.
2.Undertake work order completions to appropriate store, ensuring accuracy of stock levels and over checking any booking errors as required.
3.Resolving any issues relating to the availability of parts in Stores
4.Continually liaise with the Supply Department regarding changes of sales demand within lead-time to satisfy customer requirements.
To apply you should have
1.Working experience within the manufacturing sector including ideally the creation of production schedules
2.Experience and expertise of data analysis work
3.Excellent knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and strong excel skills.
