This is a varied role where you will manage and lead both the Development and Structural Engineering team in the design, planning, development and delivery of structural designs. This is a hands on role where you will manage the engineering department by organising, controlling and contributing to the flow of projects and man power requirements.

This role would therefore ideally suit a Structural / Civil or Mechanical Engineer who has some experience of leading a team of structural and development engineers who is looking to take their next step in their career and work for a business that will give you an opportunity to develop your skills and your career as they continue to grow.

The Role:

* Lead and manage the Engineering team of 6

* Manage the design, planning and development of projects

* Manage and maintain a research and development programme

The Person:

* Management / Leadership experience

* A hands on manager

* Must have a Degree in Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering

* Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
