Account Manager - EDA Software - Munich.

My client is an EDA company focused on the electrical and electronic engineering industry. They are seeking an Account Manager, ideally with knowledge of mechanical or industrial engineering / automation, to join their team in Munich.

Requirements:

· Proven sales experience in a technical software environment (automation / SaaS / EDA)

· Knowledge of mechanical or industrial engineering and automation.

· Ability to hit, and exceed, targets through developing a strong pipeline of opportunity through new business and via growing existing accounts

· Fluent English and German.

Responsibilities:

· Manage existing clients and develop new business within those accounts as well as winning new logos.

· Planning account strategies and ensuring regular project tracking.

· Take part in events and always represent the client; becoming an ambassador of the products.

· Being hands-on; getting involved with all quoting, projects and closing of activities on your accounts.

Open to a pro-active account manager with some technical experience of the mechanical or industrial markets. You will understand the automation sell and be able to manage accounts as well as develop new business.
