Title: Senior System Administrator

Location: Barcelona

Salary: EURflexible (depending on level of experience)

Exciting tech company in the healthcare space is expanding its engineering team in Barcelona! They are looking to hire an experienced Senior Systems Administrator.

The role will involve:

- Sysadmin for the company's servers: 2 public facing ones, 1 internal with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)

- Write, implement and enforce access policies for internal wiki and other document storage

- Maintain the servers always up-to-date

- Maintain the documentation of our infrastructure always up-to-date (network topology, etc.)

- Proactively implement preventive cybersecurity measures

- Regularly ensure that backups can be restored properly and in a timely manner

- Audit and implement security policies to be compliant with HIPAA/GDPR regulations (among others), in collaboration with our regulatory team

- Maintain our local network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN)

Key skills/experience required:

- 3+ years experience with Linux (servers) and OSX (company laptops)

- Experience with JIRA (and/or other Atlassian products) administration

- Internal IT infrastructure management, NAS with backup, VPN

- Pro-active stance on security: experience in IDS, log monitoring, adequate firewalls, VPN, etc.

- Be on the lookout for critical security updates and apply them in a timely manner

- Communicate and enforce security policies with the team

- Fluent in English

- EU work permit

Desirable skills include:

- DevOps (Ansible, Bamboo, etc.)

- Penetration testing experience

- Experience with admin tools for iOS devices configuration (e.g. Apple Configurator)
