Senior Mechanical Engineer

12 month + contract

Midlands

£20 - £22 p/h

IC Resources are working with a market leading automotive business based in the Midlands to find a Specialist Engineer for long term contract. The role will involve:

· Managing HiL rig model and hardware upgrades to support new software releases

· Development of automated functional test cases

· Execution of functional test cases

· Analysis and reporting (written/verbal) of results

· Ad-hoc HiL testing to support issue resolution

· Managing the HiL Vesion Control system -Support development of 3D dynamics HiL plant model

· Implement test cases based on real world vehicle data

The successful applicant will have:

· A relevant degree

· Experience of developing real time embedded control systems (engines, transmissions,

chassis, aerospace)

· Validation of software on HiL Rigs and Vehicles

· Previous experience of HiL rig automation(automation desk script writing)

· Dynamic system simulation
