DV Cleared Release Manager. Our Client are looking for a DV cleared Release Manager to be responsible for managing and improving the release management process.

The successful candidates will:

- Manage the release deployment team during releases their roles and responsibilities are understood

- Produce a comprehensive rollout/deployment plan for each release

- Working with the project manager / scrum master and technical lead to ensure implementation and regression instructions are produced

- Working with the project manager / scrum master and test team produce a release schedule plotting upcoming releases

- Be the key point of contact with the analyst customers agreeing release events, scheduling, outages and system availability

- Work closely with the change manager and relevant departments to agree timing of release events, de-conflicting with other planned changes, and reaching agreement with department live services

- Be responsible for ensuring all the necessary resource for the release event is available including those providing support from outside department

- Raise the RFC, and Impact Assessments, representing the release at the Change Advisory Board (CAB) with colleagues

- Liaise with various teams including sprint team, test team, business change and business analysts to ensure planning, resources and test activities are progressing.

- Facilitate the risk assessment of technical changes and release content

Technical Competencies:

- ITIL understanding (D)

- Experience Agile or other PPM methodologies (PRINCE2, APMP, MSP etc) (D)
