Field Application Engineer - Electronic Component Manufacturer - Milano/Italy - Home/Field Based

A major Electronic Component Manufacturer is seeking an experienced field application engineer located in Italy, Ideally Milano. They require someone who has strong technical knowledge relevant to Electronic Components especially electronic sensors as well as the ability communicate this knowledge to customers.

Requirements:

* Experienced engineer who is comfortable advising on technical issues and demonstrating/presenting new products

* Experience working within the electronic component market and ideally the industrial market and design experience would be an advantage

* Strong knowledge of the industry/market as well as the relevant products including electronic sensors with the ability to communicate this knowledge effectively

Responsibilities:

* Work with both internal and external sales teams to assist customers with technical support

* Ability to advise on technical issues and offer product support

* Work alongside the sales team and collaborate with them in order to promote products

* Travel to customer sites throughout Northern Italy and engage with customers

This is a new position and the successful candidate would be one of the key engineers within this region in regards to technical issues/support. You will work directly with both the company's sales teams and key customers. The region already has strong accounts and long term customers. It is based from home but requires travel within Northern Italy.
