QA Environments Lead

Test Architect (hands off), Change and Release Manager,

QA Environments Lead is required for a rapidly expanding technology company. They essentially need a QA Environment Lead to come in and design the Testing Process and Toolset for a specific area of the business. The QA Environment Lead title is comparable to someone from a Change Manager, Release and Configuration Manager or a Test Architect background and will be a standalone role liaising with different agile development teams.

The QA Environments Lead will have the opportunity to work on some exciting projects whilst providing great training, career development and a very competitive salary and benefits package.

Technical Skills and Experience of the QA Environments Lead:

- Strong experience in Environments management

- AWS or other Cloud Technologies

- Knowledge or experience of the full Software Development Lifecycle

- Previous experience working in an Agile team e.g. Scrum or Kanban

- MDM, Talend or ETL systems

- Stakeholder management experience including managing 3rd party companies and vendors

- Proven ability to triage non-production environment issues and analyse them

- Continues Integration tools like Jenkins and code management tools

- Experience in a Non Production environments

- Managing complex data solutions environments

- Experience working with E-Commerce Systems

- Knowledge of GDPR guideline

- Capacity Management

- Configuration Management

- Change Management

Key Responsibilities of the QA Environments Lead:

- Define test environment requirements

- Support QA strategy for technology projects

- Identify all systems required for end to end testing

- Work across technical teams to build Non Production environments

- Manage Test data and Test Data Integrity

- Manage Non-Production environments including booking and provisions

- Manage environments contentions

- Triage solutions of all Non Production environment issues

- Non Productions environment KPIs

This role will be commutable from: Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, Witney, High Wycombe, Newbury, Banbury, Aylesbury, Bicester, Swindon, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Thame, Reading and all surrounding areas.
