As well as being the UK supplier of industrial embroidery machines from the world's leading manufacturer SWF, they also supply digital printing equipment for the wide format industry together with T-Shirt printing machines.

Due to continued growth, they now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Service Manager to join their Service Department.

The Electro-Mechanical Service Manager Role:
As the Electro-Mechanical Service Manager, you will oversee the installation, commission and demonstration of machinery - as well as carrying out repairs and servicing on a programmed and emergency basis.

The Electro-Mechanical Service Manager will also be responsible for all administrative requirements for the Service Department. The Service Department covers Internal and External Electro-Mechanical technicians who are based in the East Midlands, but work nationwide and internationally.

Key Responsibilities of the Electro-Mechanical Service Manager:
Keeping an up-to-date database of service/repair work and customers detailsOrganising and maintaining a monthly schedule for all engineersTyping quotations, engineer reports and job sheetsCompiling service level agreementsNotifying staff of work and ensuring they have the correct paperworkWork sheet analysisScheduling Internal/External Customer visits UK and InternationallyScheduling of internal work loadsCost analysis for internal workMaintaining an efficient filing system and diaryInforming existing contract customers of planned site visitsHelping with urgent response customers’ requests and re-scheduling engineer visitsOrdering partsAnswering the telephone, advising customers or putting them through to the appropriate expertOrganisation of travel and accommodation arrangementsDevelopment and Supervision of Technical Trainees Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience in Technical Manager roleDegree in Engineering discipline, or qualified by experienceProven man-management skillsGood customers service approachTarget drivenGood working knowledge of Word & ExcelWell organisedGood telephone manner In return, the Electro-Mechanical Service Manager can expect;
