Excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer with experience in the aviation industry to join a rapidly expanding company in a varied, challenging and interesting position.

This company is a leading aircraft support business within the Aerospace industry and due to continued expansion they are looking for a Quality Manager to join their busy team.

The main purpose of this role is to oversee and manage the sites Quality Management System (QMS). The Quality manager reports directly to the Managing Director and represents the company in all quality matters, including liaising with regulatory and quality certification bodies.

The ideal candidate will be a Quality Engineer with experience in the Aviation / Aerospace industries. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards and internal auditing experience are also essential.

The Role:

* Split between an office and a warehouse setting

* Manage the QMS

* Internal and external audits

* Liaising with the CAA and other associated regulatory or quality certification bodies

The Person:

* Industry experience as a Quality Engineer / Manager (Aviation or Aerospace)

* Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 standards

* An internal auditing qualification and experience

* IT literate
