Where you'll work:

The company has a fantastic opportunity for two BI SQL Developers to join the team at Kingswood Cannock. You will work as a member of the Business Intelligence Team in the support and development of the company's Data Warehouse, Data Marts, SSRS reporting and BI cubes, so as to facilitate the businesses need for information and decision support. Their office at Kingswood in Staffordshire is a custom built facility acting as a centre of support services for the business affording a great opportunity to build a strong internal network, as you carry out your day to day role.

What you'll do:

You will contribute in the development of the company's Operational Data Store, Data Warehouse and Data Marts and write relational and multidimensional database queries. You will assist with the debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting T-SQL, reports and ETL packages and develop code in line with best practice and recognised standards. You will take ownership of tasks and projects set by the BI Manager. You will continually develop and expand knowledge in the field of BI and MS SQL Server BI Stack. You will resolves issues at an early stage before they become significant. You may also perform other related duties assigned as and when required.

About your knowledge, skills and experience:

* Previous experience working with SQL Server 2012 or 2016 MS BI Stack in a BI or Reporting type function

* Previous experience in a development environment

* Previous experience of enterprise level databases

* Excellent verbal and written communication

* Excellent attention to detail

* Microsoft Azure experience/knowledge desirable

* Ability to work without supervision and or part of a team
