We are recruiting for an internationally established consulting organisation. Working in the Construction, transport and utilities sector our client is establishing new, innovative parts of the business and these sectors become ever more disrupted by digital products.

A unique opportunity to join an international sized business but essentially sit within a mini digital start up in the larger organisation. This team helps clients build bespoke digital products. This newly created role will lead collaboration between clients, SME's and developers.

The Product Manager role:

* The Product Manager will be expected to ensure the successful execution of digital strategy for a suite of digital tools.

* Liaise with SME's and stakeholders to determine which features will be in Product releases.

* Be a true digital partner to clients, understanding their needs and translating the requirements back to the business and development team.

* Be flexible in your approach to clients and understand the individual complexities relating to the digital suite.

* Facilitate product mapping, create user stories and ensuring the delivery process is as smooth as possible.

* Collaborate effectively with developers and QA to ensure all are aiming for the same goal.

* Challenge client expectations, ensure they are realistic and that demands can be matched.

* Be pro-active in creating and improving methods of working with clients.

* Understand how data can be used to drive decision making.

Experience and Background required for Product Manager

* Experience working with B2B Products.

* Proven experience working with GIS, Data, Digital or IOT products.

* A background in software development ideally with Python with Java/.Net Considered. Front-end experience would be beneficial but not essential.

* Experience creating product plans and writing user stories.

* Have an excellent understanding of the product lifecycle and demonstrable experience of end to end delivery of new products.

* Be passionate about technology and look at how new tech such as AI/Machine learning can be implemented into the suite.

* Constantly look to grow your skill set and know as much as possible about tech.

* Be highly creative when it comes to product ideas.

* Take pride in the work you do, be a hands on product manager and ensure the success of the product team.

The Product Manger is based in Manchester

The Product Manager will pay in the region of £65,000-£75,000 depending on experience.
