My global client is current recruiting for a Oracle SQL DBA for an initial 6 Fixed Term Contract with the opportunity to go permanent thereafter based in the West Midlands.

Senior DBA for you will provide the support of Production, development and test databases in a Cloud and Traditional legacy Infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

?Operate in a business critical environment with a high level of autonomy so you will need to be a self-starter with excellent communication skills

?Take ownership and managing your own workload, you will work along with other established DBAs within the team

?Day to day support of database environments with a mixture of BAU and project activities

?Provide out of hours DBA support as and when required, technical support for database related issues and rolling out fixes plus preventative maintenance/patching

Essentials Skills:

?Demonstrable experience working in a technical services role within an ITIL based enterprise level IT support operation, in either an incident or problem management role

?Strong analysis skills in Oracle and SQL server databases in live production environments providing business critical business services

?Oracle 10g/11g/12c database administration

?SQL Server 2008r2, 2012, 2014, 2016

?MySQL
