Award winning, nationally recognised client in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire is looking for a passionate and experienced Web Support Analyst to join their IT team due to continued growth and success.
The Web Support Analyst will be responsible for providing IT technical as well as administrative support of web and other digital services along with supporting a number of Retail Applications. The role will work with the Retail Application Team, and stakeholders across the business to support internally and externally provided mobile, CRM and web and retail applications.
Key responsibilities:
*Understanding the key digital technologies and services being used by the business.
*Providing appropriate technical support for mobile, CRM and web applications used.
*Supporting the Retail & Core Service Desks to ensure complex digital issues are identified and resolved in a responsive and efficient manner.
*Working with third party suppliers that deliver outsourced services to identify and resolve problems and manage cross supplier issues.
*Provide technical support and guidance to the Change & Problem Manager in both aspects of their role.
*Investigation and resolution of Incidents, and Problems within the Applications supported by the Retail Application Team
*Work in conjunction with the key stakeholders inside and outside IT, to identify opportunities to improve best practice and effectiveness of web solutions, and future technologies.
Key skills and experience required:
*Strong understanding and demonstrable practical experience of supporting web based applications.
*Understand domain registrations, SSL certificates and DNS
*Great technical knowledge with a creative problem solving approach
*Able to find pragmatic and effective technology solutions to business problems.
*Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders effectively
*Strongly customer focused with exceptional problem solving .
*Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
*Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
*Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
*Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
*Experience of the Retail or Hospitality sectors and a good understanding of technologies and services is desirable too
