SC/DV Cleared Network Team Lead

£400-£440 per day

My Government Client require Network Team Lead to lead the Network Support Team with ICT Operations. The team lead will provide technical support to all customers and manage the technical resources within the Network team ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, with direct customer interaction and the opportunity to develop and participate in project activities.

Essential

Technical Background:

*Experience in support and design in highly secure environments.

*Cisco Switching, Routing, Security and wireless technologies

*Network Protocols TCP/IP, BGP, ICMP, OSPF, IPSEC

*Cisco ASA Firewall Administration and design

*Palo Alto Firewall administration.

*Experience of Virtual Environments and virtual network solutions

*Experience in working within a secure environment such as the PAG's.

*Experience in Cisco ISE and PRIME

*BIG IP F5 Administration - LTM, ASM

*Network Monitoring PRTG

Service Delivery:

*Experience of leading a Network team in an Enterprise Environment

*Experience in working alongside many aspects of the ITIL3 environment, such as release to production, problem and change management.

*The ability to take a complex problem and drive through to the end goal.

*Strong analytical ability where trouble shooting scripted on-boarding processes.

*Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to deliver.

*The ability to create and support Operational Process documentation.

*The ability to create and manage Operational Acceptance Criteria.

*Good problem solving and analytical skills.

*Good interpersonal and communication skills and an excellent team player.

*Well organised and able to work under pressure to achieve to tight deadlines.

Desirable

*Experience of working within an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL v3) support environment.

*Knowledge of IT Service Management toolsets i.e. HP OVSD and HP Service Manager (SM9 and ServiceNow.

Operating Infrastructure:

*CCNP Switching ,Routing, Security, wireless

*Cisco ASA

*Palo Alto

*F5 and Juniper appliances

*Panorama

*Wireless Technologies preferable Aruba

*Experience of Service Desk toolsets

*Foundation certificate in ITIL Service Management

Experience of any of the following:

*MS Windows Environment

*Secure Video Conferencing

*Configuration writing.

*Working knowledge of Network Monitoring tools
