Role: Network Engineer Contract

Duration: 6 months

Location: Dublin

Daily rate: Competitive

A Dublin business is seeking an experienced Network Engineer Contractor for a 6 month engagement with view to extend or turn permanent. This is an opportunity to work in a global enterprise that is growing year on year.

Duties:

* Manage all aspects of network, including switching, routing, firewall administration, and the enforcement of security policies, standards guidelines and procedures

* Identify and resolve network issues

* Design network architecture and upgrades

* Monitor network performance, rapidly respond to issues and minimise downtime

Experience & Qualifications:

* Hands-on experience with switching and routing

* Firewalls: Cisco, SonicWALL, Palo Alto

* Load balancers

* IDS, IPS

* CCNA or CCNP
