We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer with experience of Microsoft/WinOps environments to guide DevOps strategy, process and technology implementation whilst coaching and mentoring a talented team as part of a global software group.

As the Lead DevOps Engineer you will have a broad and varied role; leading the DevOps team with a focus on continued learning, coaching and mentoring as the team grows whilst providing 'hands on' expertise in improving CI, automating the environment and improving the build and deployment process.

You will guide future strategy whilst promoting the DevOps culture both in your own team and across the software engineering group and we are hoping to find someone who enjoys and values knowledge sharing and passing on your expertise to improve your team.

Skills required for the Lead DevOps Engineer (WinOps, Microsoft):

* Desire to, or experience of, leading a growing DevOps team including coaching and mentoring. Previous management experience is not necessary.

* Demonstrable experience of Microsoft/WinOps environments including build automation, CI and configuration management with Microsoft tooling

* Maintains a 'hands on' approach using Windows and .Net Systems, PowerShell, VSTS, TFS or MS Build

* Experience of Azure and AWS would be beneficial but either will be considered
