A globally established highly technical team, within a tier 1 investment bank are seeking a proficient Java Developer to develop scalable systems within the derivatives platform. The team has doubled in size in recent years following continued improvement and, therefore, offers exceptional growth on a professional and technical basis.

The new projects the team are currently working on are EMIR and MIFID II where you will be developing in Java 8 and relevant frameworks such as spring and hibernate. The team embrace change and welcome new technology as you will have the opportunity to learn Scala and Big Data technologies and, therefore, a passion for technology is paramount.

The ideal candidate for the Java Developer role:

* Proven capabilities of working with Java 8

* Previous exposure to Hibernate, Spring and web technologies

* Capable understanding of multi-threading
