Cyber Data Scientist - £45,000 - £70,000 - London

My client are a global IT Services firm who have now developed their Security Operations Centre to bring into their fold a Cyber Data Scientist - to work across their Threat Intel and Cyber Risk service.

You will work as part of a tight-knit team, developing and forming new manners to identify the ever present malicious parties on our client's network, leveraging SIEM technology and Big-Data technology (Apache Spark/Hive).

Working to consume Threat Intelligence/ understanding of how attacks progress and the ability to develop/define new data sources to enable these attacks are detected as early as possible. This is an internally facing role but there are also expectations set to engage with the wider business and clients.

Ideally experienced within a predominantly Threat Intelligence/ Hunting role or Security Analysis, with a strong numerical background. Experience within technologies such as Apache Hadoop (Spark), SIEM Technologies and Graph Databases would be especially ideal.
