Essential Skills Required

They are looking for someone with strong customer-management and interpersonal skills and an in-depth knowledge of the enterprise design area. As an Enterprise Management Architect you will need the ability to express a pragmatic and thorough design, taking into account any conflicting priorities of the business or customer.

* The ability to hold a large and diverse design team to a single agreed approach, and to ensure that there are no gaps between the various components.

* A detailed knowledge of service delivery concepts and techniques with strong operational understanding of service supply chains

* Experience of service architecture and design for major IT systems

* Self-motivating, objective setting, and strong leadership skills

* Negotiating, bringing consensus, with previous experience of running workshops

* Team development and motivational skills

* Written communications - clear technical writing and presentation.

High level experience in the following technologies (or solid experience of 2012 and the ability to familiarise yourself quickly with new versions:

* SCOM 2016

* SCCM 2016

* SCVMM 2016

* SCO 2016

* Remedy

* CA Service Desk

SC clearance as a minimum

Qualifications

Key Performance Indicators

* Tangible feedback from customers and/or sales that major technical project definitions have influenced investment decisions. Regularly has technical strategies, architectures and proposals, incorporating trade-offs from the original specification, accepted by the relevant Business Approval review, without any requirement for significant proposal changes.

* Authors design and test documents for large, complex solution developments, incorporating strategic level risks and remedies and manages a large design team to achieve documented handover criteria.

* Can evidence a leading role in the development of new offerings.

* Documented feedback, from customers and/or sales, that IT strategies and architecture for significant areas of the customers' business have been developed as a result of working with the customer to understand their business strategy.

* Authors high level design documents for major solutions, managing design requirements and implementation teams and maintains an audit trail for an effective design control process.
