3rd Line Server Engineer / Senior Technical Support Engineer - Windows Server / Virtualisation / Storage / Backup

A Senior 3rd Line Infrastructure / Server Engineer / Technical Support Engineer is required to join a rapidly growing organisation in Leeds. You will be joining an award winning managed service company, who are passionate about technology, who reward their staff and amongst other great benefits also support and pay for relevant professional certifications (MCSA, MCSE, VCP, CCA etc). Training will also be provided, to support the development of a mixed skill set.

The Senior 3rd Line Infrastructure / Server Engineer will provide technical support and project engineering / implementation work to a wide range of diverse clients, ranging from SME to Enterprise companies, working with a wide range of the latest releases of Microsoft and virtualisation technologies.

Proven experience of the following technologies within a Server Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer / Technical Support Engineer role is required (not all essential):

* Microsoft / Windows Server

* VMWare and / or Citrix experience

* SAN / Storage Technologies, e.g. Dell Equalogic

* Backup, e.g. Veeam, Backup Exec, Asignra

* Office 365

* Technical support of large, enterprise level environments

* Client facing / project work would be beneficial

* Any experience of cisco networking technologies would be beneficial

About the role:

The business is seeking a 3rd Line Infrastructure / Server Engineer who has provided 3rd Line support for a broad range of infrastructure technologies previously and is keen to progress their technical abilities and career.

The 3rd Line Infrastructure / Server Engineer in addition to supporting Windows Servers will also be supporting VMware, Citrix, Storage and Backup. The role also offers the opportunity for Engineers to be involved in project work, getting experience of design, implementation and pre-sales.
