Project Engineer (Battery Testing)

3 month initial contract (likely to go permanent)

Location - Midlands commutable from Birmingham, Warwick, Coventry, Stratford upon Avon

£20 - £25ph

36.5 hours (Mon-Fri)

Are you an experienced Test/Project Engineer with experience of working on Batteries or Fuel Cells? Are you looking for an immediately available contract role that has a high potential to go permanent?

This is a post within a rapidly expanding and world renowned Research and development department at a leading University. Due to continued growth my client is looking for a Test Engineer used to working on Batteries or Fuel Cells to join their highly experienced team.

The successful candidate will be from a research and development or scientific background. You will have experience of testing batteries or fuel cells, preferably lithium-ion. You will be working on collaborative projects with leading OEM's in order to solve industry problems. Candidates will need to know test techniques, be able to collate data and write reports, be from a chemistry, electrochemistry or other relevant background, having experience of collecting data from tests.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any Test Engineer to join a renowned research and development centre that offers the chance to work on prestigious and exciting projects. It could even lead to a permanent position.

The Role:

* Research and development department

* Testing Automotive Battery Cells (Lithium-ion)

* Writing reports and dealing with academics and students

The Candidate:

* Experienced Test Engineer working on batteries

* Experienced at writing reports

* Battery Characterising experience desirable
