SG Gaming, a market leader in the UK retail gaming sector is looking for a Business Intelligence Report Developer with excellent excel skills to join its Feltham based BI & Analytics Team. The primary focus of the team is to provide customer analysis to the organisation and your main responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of all reports to internal and external stakeholders as well as conduct all (BI related) data and Cognos package testing.

In addition, this role will be responsible for the creation and development of new, multidimensional, active reports and dashboards which will aid decision making across the business. This will involve working collaboratively with the Reporting Administrator, BI and Analytics Manager and members of the IT department.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure the delivery of all current automated reports using the current BI tool (Cognos) as well as the manual daily, weekly and monthly reports using Excel.

* Maintain all automated and manual reports which includes updating Cognos schedules and distribution lists.

* Develop simple and complex, multidimensional and relational reports and dashboards and be able to enhance existing reports based on new requirements.

* Conduct testing and development of new data sources and functionality throughout their lifestyle as part of the on-going improvements to the BI toolset.

* Monitor the efficiency and stability of Cognos output and work collaboratively with IT to resolve data problems and assist with the performance tuning of reports, models and infrastructure.

* Provide ad-hoc data and reporting requests to maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure high expectations are being met.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Essential

* Can confidently work with a high degree of accuracy and is accountable for own work.

* Advanced Excel skills and use of PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.

* The ability to communicate well in a team as well as work individually and be willing to learn on the job.

* The ability to adapt to a changing environment and to prioritise in order to meet tight deadlines.

* Ability to perceive the requirements from a customer perspective and deliver a solution which is fit for purpose.

Desirable

* Educated to degree level or equivalent.

* Data literate and has demonstrable experience of working with large volumes of data and any BI and reporting tools (e.g. IBM Cognos, Tableau, Business Objects).

* Knowledge of the gaming industry in the UK and opportunities in international markets.

* Previous use of IBM Cognos.

* Experience with documentation / issues tracking tools such as Jira.
