Azure Data Analytics Consultant - Buckinghamshire

An established MS Technology Solution Provider based in Scotland are seeking a Data Engineering Consultant to join their team to help them build their Data/Intelligence practice from the ground up after expanding massively in response to project wins and investment.

You'll be working across the full project lifecycle using some elements of the on-premise SQL Stack (SSIS and SSAS Tabular) but primarily on the Azure cloud platform (Azure SQL Warehouse, Data Factory, Data Lakes and Power BI) to modernise your clients' reporting and BI solutions as well as integrate them with MS Dynamics. You'll be motivated by the power and potential of cloud-based analytics and the positive effect it can have on your clients' business. You'll also gain exposure to Machine Learning and AI technologies as the team grows and explores different areas.

You'll be based near one of the company offices in Glasgow or Aberdeen, travelling to client sites 40-50% of the time around the South East and Midlands, with other time spent in office or at home. A full driving licence and the flexibility to have some overnight stays is essential.

Key skills include:

- Expert in BI Development on the SQL 2014 (or newer) Stack using SSIS and SSAS

- Expertise in ETL/ELT Development

- Experience in working with Azure Data Factory, Data Lakes or Azure SQL Warehouse is highly desirable

- Expertise in SQL Server Deployment, Configuration and Management

This is a permanent role, offering a salary of up to £50,000 plus benefits and all expenses paid while travelling. The company also provide MS Certification training in Azure Data Analytics and Data Platform as well as the opportunity to work on some really exciting Azure Cloud projects.
