We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our growing Technology Team. This is a new role which will help drive Nesta’s updated Technology Strategy through the management and integration of systems, platforms, and processes.

Nesta's Technology Team provide direction on the use of technology across the organisation, and well as IT service and support for all systems, applications, and digital services used by Nesta staff. The team leverages both tested and emerging technologies while utilising information resources to support Nesta’s mission and maximise impact. Data resilience and data protection are a priority for the team at all times.

About the role

As Business Systems Analyst your primary responsibilities will be the administration of a varied suite of systems and platforms, analysing existing systems for improvement, and recommending new systems and processes. You will follow best practices and work closely with the Business Process team to improve procedures and solutions aimed at increasing productivity and removing inefficiencies across the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will work closely with stakeholders throughout Nesta to better understand current processes and advise teams how they can use technology to help achieve their goals. You will also assist the Data Protection working group in preparation for the upcoming GDPR regulations, as well as ensuring ongoing data protection practices are enforced on all systems.

Solutions-focused and enthusiastic about the opportunities and challenges technology presents, you’re a creative thinker who is competent and confident in providing solutions and support to a dynamic organisation. You’ll have experience of administering and integrating a variety of platforms such as Salesforce, SurveyGizmo, MailChimp, Submittable, and SurveyMonkey, and be familiar with identity and productivity suites such as Okta, Google, and Office 365. And it goes without saying that you’ll have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to present technical topics to a wide range of audiences.
