Job Title: Senior Technical Specialist

Salary: circa £30,000

Location: A24 - Between Worthing & Horsham

(near Washington / driving licence essential)

Essential experience: Telephony / SIP / ISDN / Broadband

Our client is a high growth technology business and are now seeking an office based Senior Technical Specialist to join their team. The Senior Technical Specialist position is working alongside a small team of engineers in the companies brand new purpose built office. This company specialises in unified communications and digital marketing technology and has grown rapidly since it was founded.

The role involves working as a team to provide "best in class" tech support around our portfolio of products. You will act as a senior tech lead on escalations within the team and will be expected to provide training and support to junior members of staff.

You will work closely alongside the original founders of the business and have the opportunity to build a career in the tech sector and develop in the company.

A training program will support you in your growth and provide you with the opportunity to understand the areas of technology to specialise in.

The role will suit someone who would like to progress their career with a fast growing industry.

The more experience in the following area the better:

1. Minimum 5 years' experience within a technical role in telecommunications organisation.

2. Excellent knowledge of voice network services including ISDN, broadband and SIP trunks.

3. Understanding of peripheral technology e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, Wireshark would be an advantage.

4. Strong communications skills are required, verbal, written and presentation.

5. Excellent customer facing skills, ability to work under pressure and in a busy environment.

6. A flexible approach to working hours and travel throughout the UK at short notice.

7. Ability to work well as part of a team, as well as using initiative to resolve problem and deliver excellent customer service.

8. Experience of new product and software release management.
