IT Business Partner

Market Rate (initial 3 months)

North of Birmingham with travel to Bristol

Working in IT & Change, to lead and manage the successful delivery of programmes or a change portfolio of individual projects on behalf of the business.

Role is responsible for:

Initiating, shaping, and leading successful delivery of IT & Change programmes/project portfolios and Bids & Deals through:

*Owning the day-to-day management of the programme/portfolio on behalf of the business sponsor

*Ownership and Co-ordination of the projects and their interdependencies

*Development and approval of necessary documentation, including business case, charters, schedules, resource plans etc

*Creation and running of the necessary governance structures and accountability

*Reviewing programme to ensure alignment with business strategic objectives, within budget and agreed timescales.

*Working with business managers to ensure appropriate benefit realisation strategies are in place

*Provides an escalation path for project managers through to business sponsors

*Management of a team of project managers and business analysts ensuring that resource is effectively aligned to delivery priorities and that the team are developed to support ongoing business needs

*Identification, analysis and management of risks, issues and dependencies through the definition and implementation of appropriate management strategies'

*Facilitating the appointment and management of resources against plan

*Management of spend against baseline budget

Sills/Knowledge/Experience

*Knowledge and experience of applying frameworks such as PRINCE2 along with PMO experience.

*Proven ability to manage IT or change programmes, deliver high quality consultancy and support, deliver top quality, reliable service and support with a complex business services environment

*Working in collaboration with business areas and/or 3rd party suppliers

*Management and development of people within a change management organisation

*Leading and managing complex teams in a matrix structure

*Programme/Project shaping

*Experience of dealing with all levels of stakeholder including senior stakeholders
