Hardware Design Engineer - Bath - 6 months+

I am looking for a Hardware Engineer / Electronics Engineer with SC Clearance for an initial 6 month Contract based in Bath. If you don't have current SC Clearance, then you will at least need to be confident you are 'SC Clearable'

You will possess creative problem-solving skills within a team environment and comfortable with communicating clearly and efficiently throughout varying levels of both the customer and our internal businesses. Due to the nature of the assignments undertaken you will work in an environment that promotes autonomy and initiative, requiring a flexible attitude.

Type - Contract (6 months)

Location - Bath

Rate: £40-45 per hour

Start Date - ASAP

Essential Skills / experience:

- Hardware engineer with extensive experience

- Circuit design and layout (Altium Designer)

- Test / ATE experience

- Experience of writing and preparing reports and documentation

Beneficial:

- SW experience (C/C++)

- Use of SVN repository

- EMC / environmental test experience

- Security assurance experience

- Quality assurance experience

- Experience of working with high integrity / safety critical hardware / software in military applications
