Application Support Analyst (C# & ASP.NET) - 4 Month Contract - Nottingham

My client is looking for a Application Support Analyst an initial 4 month contract based in Nottingham. The role will be full time on site and comes with a daily rate of £320 - £355 per day.

The role is working for a major utilities company so an understanding of utilities and/or financial clients is preferred. Candidates must have operational experience as well as exceptional skills in C# & ASP.NET.

Role Description:

Ensure stability of all digital systems including sitecore content management systems

Resolution of incidents and ensure root cause analysis can be fix and applied where appropriate.

Ensure solutions are developed appropriately within the whole digital and IT landscape.

Consult in newly developed projects and ensure successful delivery into operations.

Challenge assumptions and ensure value based on experience and knowledge.

Actively identify, report, promote and deliver system and process improvement ideas.

Ensure the digital KPI and services reflects the digital strategy

Required Experience:

Ability to understand, analysis and investigate technical solutions.

C#, ASP .NET webforms and MVC, Site Core (or another .NET based CMS e.g. Umbraco), JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks (ideally Angular), HTML and CSS, CSS Frameworks (e.g. Foundation), web services and Oracle RDMS.

Challenge and provide solutions to ongoing issues.

Actively gain and seek business knowledge by liaison with other teams.

Understanding the full lifecycle of a development project in an agile delivery solution and assist effective Service Transition.

Ability to deliver small deliverables as defined by the business.

Experience of DevOps culture, GIT and Octopus deploy, working in a support function /or ITIL best practice would be advantageous
