I am working in partnership with a global enterprise based in the Knursford area who are looking to hire enthusiastic and passionate Junior Software Engineers.

The roles will sit within a new department, focusing on core product development of a number of applications that process billions of pounds annually. The roles are part of an enormous re-vamp of their software, focusing on greenfield development and the refactoring of a legacy codebase.

They are in the process of moving towards a microservices-based architecture with a focus on API-driven development and cloud-focused strategies. The primary application development stack is based around Java EE (Spring, JSP, Hibernate, JSF) but the roles will also involve exposure to programming languages such as C++ and Scala, as well as front end/UI technologies (React, Angular, Vue).

What they are looking for are passionate technologists with a tech-related academic background as well as evidence of freelance/personal projects. Commercial experience would be ideal, but the key factor for this role is personality and the drive and determination to improve.
