Big Data Architect - London - £100k
Would you like to work on a variety of interesting projects along with the comfort of working for one company? I am looking for a Big Data Architect who has previously led Data migration projects, building & architecting Data Platforms and delivering scalable products to join a highly successful Business Transformation company that have turned around a number of well-known global tech organisations.
The company work alongside Venture Capital clients who task them with transforming their acquisitions by providing understanding the business processes to maximise performance.
They are looking for a Data Architect to work alongside their Lead Software Architect by liaising with stakeholders to understand business requirements and architecting Big Data Solutions and ensuring it's delivered and implemented with the help of an offshore team of developers.
You'd have a variety of projects to work on which include, Data migration projects, building & architecting Data Platforms and delivering scalable products for their clients.
As many of their clients sit on legacy platforms you will need to have a good understanding of Data Warehouses, RDBSM (Oracle, SQL) and as you will be moving them into big data you would need to be familiar some of the technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Scala etc.
You will be based in their offices close to London Bridge and may be required to travel to client sites occasionally (which will be nearby so overnight stays won't be required).
