Electrical Site Based Service Engineer

£30-34K plus benefits

Based in Rotherham, Yorkshire-Commutable from Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster

Are you a qualified Electrical Engineer with Service Engineering experience on large, complex machines, looking for a permanent position in a high Tec environment?

This newly created position, due to expansion and the winning of contracts, offer significant technical and career development, and training on the client products.

The role is with an international brand in a fast growing part of their business.

The role is for a product specialist to support the products made on site. The successful candidate will be 100% embedded on a client site.

In the first month you will be given training at the head office in Tring, Hertfordshire. Accommodation will be provided during this period.

Therefore tasks will include:

-Define what spares and equipment should be held by 1st line teams and distributors

-Provide internal and distributor service training

-Identify product and process improvements

-Oversee and authorise factory repairs

To apply for this position you should have:

-A Time served and qualified Electrical/Electronic Engineering background

-Experience in a client facing service engineer position

-Working knowledge on large complex machinery, ideally X-Ray/CT systems
