Mechanical Design Engineer - required to join Engineering design team to design and development of a climatic wind tunnel for a world leading organisation.

This role would suit a candidate with experience of Mechanical Design and CAD & Engineering Drawings. You will develop designs, perform modelling, FEA and design test to ensure the best process and design is taken forward.

You should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and ability to see a project through from initial brief to testing of design. Experience of 2D drawing conventions, 3D mechanical CAD technology and SolidWorks are required. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work to agreed timelines. Candidates with knowledge of wind tunnel design, aerodynamics, and flow conditions would be of specific interest.
