MS SQL Database Administrator

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE

This company currently has an exciting opportunity for a full time DBA working within a fast growing financial technology company. They are the largest Personal Insolvency Company in the UK. They have a dynamic, forward thinking approach to recruitment and training, resulting in some of the most skilled people in the market.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Reporting to the IT & Facilities Director

- Administering and troubleshooting MS SQL Server databases

- Resolving database support requests

- Implementing performance monitoring (PRTG)

- Planning and executing SQL Server performance reviews

- Creation and upkeep of database maintenance plans

Key Skills and Experience:

- Logical problem solver who enjoys finding solutions to complex problems

- Quick to react with the ability to remain calm under pressure
