Senior Infrastructure & Automation Specialist

My client is a leading media powerhouse across Scandinavia with presence in Denmark, Sweden and Finland - this role will be placed at their office in Copenhagen. The IT Operations team are looking for a senior colleague to help build, maintain and expand the IT infrastructure both on-premise and in Azure cloud.

They are in the middle of a transformation journey and with a lot of exciting and challenging topics on the agenda. My client deeply believes in acting and working as a team to support the business in the best possible way. My client also strongly believes in the public cloud and that's where they are heading. The journey has begun but is far from at the end, still dependent on legacy platforms on-premise, which the IT Operations Team is continuously developing and improving.

About you

As a person, you're curious and enjoy learning new stuff, which you can quickly translate into real world use cases that benefits our business and your colleagues. You believe in public cloud, but you have solid experience with on-premise workloads as well. You are comfortable with virtualization, backup and DR, network and generally a lot with Windows Server and System Center technology. You agree that PowerShell is the best that has happened to the Windows platform this side of the century, and you are familiar with automation platforms where we currently utilize Orchestrator, SMA and Azure automation.

We expect you're experienced within these areas:

* Microsoft Windows Server

* Microsoft System Center

* Backup and Disaster Recovery

* Automation and scripting

* Public cloud (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS)

* Office 365 and Azure AD

* ITIL Service Management

* Linux and DevOps experience is a plus

* Experience working in a Nordic/International team is a plus.
