Up to £60,000 + 25 days holiday + Gym membership + Central city location

Are you an experienced Data Protection Officer who enjoys owning the data protection function within your business? Do you have experience implementing and advising on regulatory requirements? Have you previously fully implemented GDPR compliance requirements within a financial services organisation?

You will be working within a compliance team of 11 people and take full ownership of Data Protection. At the moment this role is split between a number of people within the team, however with the new GDPR regulations coming place my client is hiring a Data Protection Officer to fully own and implement the new legal requirements. Therefore, you will fully understand the requirements of GDPR and will ensure these are included in commercial discussions.

You will be working within the compliance team, which is made up of 11 people. The team describe themselves as quite interactive and friendly and the atmosphere is warm! The office is a 1 minute walk from the Bath Spa train station, they are brand new with stunning views over the city!

Ideally you will have previously worked in financial services in a data protection role and you will display a clear understanding of the GDPR framework and have previously been part of the implementation of these legalities.

The salary on offer for this role is up to £60,000 + 25 days holiday + discounted gym membership + childcare vouchers. The working hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm and the role is to start as soon as possible, however my client is willing to wait for the right person.
