Who am I working with?

I am working with an industry leading organisation in the public utilities industry who are looking to recruit a Senior Developer to join their team. They currently have a software development team of circa 12 people with skills across SQL and .NET technologies. They are enjoying a period of substantial growth and are recruiting smart to keep up with extra demand and exciting projects as the organisation's headcount gets bigger. They are passionate about IT and invest very well in to their development teams.

They are a well-respected organisation based in Hatfield and play a big part in the community taking part in charity and social events across the county. They offer their employees excellent career progression and it's easy to understand why employee satisfaction and engagement is so high.

What are they looking for?

They are looking to add to their C#/ .NET team with good skills across both server and web development. They have many exciting internal projects and are looking to use more innovative and the latest technologies to improve efficiency across the business. The ideal candidate will have skills in the following:

* .NET/ C# development

* SQL Server

* HTML/ CSS

* Experience working the finance industry is desirable

* SharePoint (desireable)

They are looking for someone with good commercial experience who can hit the ground running but has the potential to learn from more senior developers. The environment is professional but relaxed and working as both an individual and as part of a team is expected.
