Applications Engineering Manager - Power Electronics

Salary EUR100k+

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Applications Engineering Manager to join an exciting fast paced semiconductor company in a beautiful location in South Germany.

The Applications Engineering Manager will be responsible for the day to day lifecycle of managing a team of Applications Engineers and act as a technical authority for the design of IGBT's and Rectifiers. Other aspects of the role will include the definition in collaboration with Product Marketing Engineers the technical requirements for new technology development, support technical inquires for customers, produce evaluation tools and support new product releases by creating marketing collateral, datasheets and schematics.

The successful candidates should have a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with a proven background in the following:

· IGBT's, MOSFET's and WBG Switches.

· Gate Driver and Power Switch interaction investigations.

· Team management.
