Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to looking after their client base. The role is a 3 month fixed term contract (pro rata salary), although there is a possibilty that the role could go permanent for the right canddiate. It is working in a fun but professional environment. The role invloves working on the helpdesk and proviong day to day assistance to resolve IT issues, client software issues, updates, installations, set up new users etc. The role will prioritise activity to ensure that key assignments receive timely attention and maintain strong lines of communication between IT Support and clients. The right candidate will have previous experience in a Desktop Support Engineer / Technician role and working knowledge of customer support environment. They will have a proven technical skills and extensive knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office andiIdeally knowledge of Windows 7 and above, Microsoft Office and Multi user networks but not essential. You will have a ITIL awarness and able adhere to standards. The candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills. The is urgent and needs to be filled as soon s possible.
