Are you a design engineer from an automotive background looking to work for a tier 1 business that supplies into Nissan & JLR?

Are you looking to take the technical lead on specialist projects for a global company?

On offer is a varied role where you will be the go to engineer on projects. This is an exciting time to join an expanding company that has just won major contracts.

On offer is a role where you will take responsibility to coordinate and support local design and development activities to bring new vehicle products into production. You will also be tasked with creating and maintaining both 3D CAD data and 2D drawings of new and existing parts using Catia V5/V6.

This business are a progressive, international company who supply into businesses such as Nissan and JLR. The organisation invests in development and training and has a multi-million-pound turnover.

This position would suit a design engineer from an automotive background looking to work with a tier 1 automotive supplier offering training and personal development.

THE ROLE

· To lead, coordinate and support local design and development activities to bring new vehicle products into production.

· To create and maintain and both 3D CAD data and 2D drawings of new and existing parts using Catia V5.

· To plan, track and report Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) of new projects and design changes.
