Software Test Lead (Manual QA Management TCP/IP Linux C++ Testing TDD CI). Looking to take on a challenging test leadership role within a fantastic working environment? Global leader in networking solutions is seeking a Software Test Lead to be responsible for the test direction of the QA team, ensuring that high quality software is consistently delivered. This is primarily a hands-off role where your main priority will be managing and mentoring hugely talented test developers and testers on multiple projects simultaneously.

As a Software Test Lead you will take on a large number of responsibilities including; setting team milestones, priorities and deadlines, allocating day-to-day assignments to team members, providing technical team leadership to ensure software development test principles are fully understood and followed, and providing technical and strategic oversight and guidance.

Requirements:

*Previous experience as a software test lead / manager

*Strong leadership and people management skills

*In depth knowledge of testing techniques, theories and principles

*Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, networking protocols, Linux, DevOps tools, C, C++, Python

*End to end understanding of test driven development

*Experience of CI and Scrum

*Likely to be degree educated from a well ranked university (Oxford / Cambridge / Russell group)
