MI Controller

The Role

The MI Controller will be based with a leading financial services company in London on an initial contract length of 6 months. Although the initial contract is for 6 months, the contract has a very high potential to go long past the initial contract on offer. The initial day rate on offer is up to £450/day.

The responsibilities of the MI Controller will be:

* You will be responsible for the daily and monthly consolidated p&l reporting including the production of flash p&ls

* Management and reporting of the division's FX Exposure including the production of the monthly COREP report

* Ownership of the daily FX Exposure process for the Treasury Oracle ledger

* Responsible for the production of the monthly and quarterly FX exposure returns

* Develop & produce MI and KPI for management reporting purposes

Essential skills/knowledge required for this position:

* Qualified Accountant with 2+ years post qualification experience

* Detailed working knowledge of the Treasury Oracle and SAP general ledgers and Business Objects

* A working understanding of financial products (specifically Foreign Exchange, interest rate derivatives and securities)

* Knowledge of currency exposure reporting in addition to regulatory disclosure and reporting requirements surrounding currency exposure.

* The ability to take large volumes of data, from a raw state and rationalise this in an efficient and effective manner

Systems skills should include:

* Oracle, SAP B/W, Business Objects query skills

* Summit (or equivalent trading platforms

* Business Objects (of equivalent ledger query tools)
