This role is for an IT services company based in Manchester. They are seeking to recruit a very high level PC support person to expand their existing team of Service desk support staff based at their Manchester offices.
You will be reporting directly to the managed services director and must be competent in all areas of Microsoft Technologies and be beyond MCP/MCIT/MCSAS Level.
The role is very diverse and an in-depth knowledge of technologies is required, you will be required to take on-board customer requirements and the ownership of support work from incident to completion (ITIL).
You must be very much "hands on" and be a team leader with demonstrated experience in Infrastructure and workplace environments Windows 7/8/10.
Preferences will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a minimum of 5-10 years experience in networking, Infrastructure and Sever implementation projects (2008/2012/2016).
You must be authorised to take up employment in the UK.

- Enterprise VPN Implementations (Cisco / Juniper if Possible)
- PowerShell Scripting
- Virtualisation of Data Centres
- Workplace implementations
- Global Policy Implementations
- Windows 7/10 Expertise down to registry / system understanding
- MCSA/MCSA or MCIT Certified
- Hyper V / VMware
- Cloud Technologies (Azure)
- Security and Firewalls
