Salary: EUR400e per day (Day Rate Contract) - Negotiable

SOLUTION DESIGN ARCHITECT

Our client a global technology giant is looking for an experienced Solution Design Architect to join their team and support their end client within the Financial Services industry on site in Dublin City Centre

Solution Design Architect KEY Responsibilities:

To be responsible for the delivery of viable solution designs. This Includes:

* Shaping programmes or projects to deliver the business outcomes.

* Providing appropriate solution options

* Responsible for key design decisions for the retail and commercial credit platform.

Researching and designing new IT solutions.

* Analysing and identifying areas for modification for existing programs.

* Understanding of logical data modelling

* Responsible for solution design definition and supporting technical decisions.

* Responsible for system context diagrams and designing end to end views

* To provide advice, guidance, training and governance in their areas of design.

* Assignments will be of large / high complexity and may be across programmes or projects in Retail & Commercial Credit.

* Responsible for leading and mentoring other technical team members.

* Providing technical governance for the Credit domain.

* Influence, support and manage senior business and technology stakeholders up to and including senior leadership team.

* Management and development of people within an environment of change in retail and Commercial Credit.

Solution Design Architect Requirements:

* 5+ years of work experience as a senior technical lead.

* Proven ability to deliver solutions for programmes/project/s balancing time, cost and quality.

* High level knowledge of the end to end project lifecycle.

* Understanding of the market / financial services industry and regulatory / legislation framework governing it with specific reference to the Credit domain.

* Knowledge and understanding of Service Orientated Architecture, Micro services and API Management.

* Experience working on large or complex assignments within a large scale organisation.

* Experience providing specialist business and technical expertise to solve business problems or to exploit opportunities.

* Breadth of knowledge of technical platforms.

* Determining the appropriate work products required for the changes and ensuring re-use.

* Experience of working in Agile development environment and working on backlog prioritisation

* Experience in Java, J2EE.
