Job Title: Mechanical design Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: £38,000 - £46,000 - depending on experience

Benefits: pension 7%, private healthcare, annual Bonus and 23 days holiday + bank holidays, oh and a great company to work for!

My key client in Bristol is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a hardworking passionate team that value their employees.

The ideal candidate:

You will be a highly qualified mechanical engineer with practical experience of technical product design, who wants to be contribute production-ready designs while also carrying out R&D in response to feedback from our customers.

Responsibilities:

*5 years minimum Mechanical design and development experience

*Must be highly competent in SolidWorks

*Maintenance and updates to existing designs as well as development of designs from initial concept through to design for manufacture

*Generating technical documentation such as design and validation reports, manufacturing/ production guidelines and manuals

*Production support for new and existing designs

*Experience in manufacturing methods applicable to electronic cabinets: sheet metal fabrications, welding, machining, corrosion protection etc.

Key Skills:

* Min of 5 years' experience as a mechanical engineer

* Able to drive a CAD package and complete CAD drawings

* SolidWorks experience required

* Initiative to work alone is key
