P6 Project Planner

Central London

Up to £50,000 per annum plus benefits

A growing consultancy currently has a requirement for a Project Planner to work on a major signalling project, based in Central London. Our client is in the process of parachuting in a whole project team to assist a major rail client on this large signalling scheme which is set to take place over several years, where they will be providing the full range of planning and project controls services.

Our client is a fast-growing consulting firm who continue to expand their project controls offering across the UK. Already a winner of several employer awards, they believe in offering employees the flexibility to work across multiple sectors in order to broaden their project knowledge - if you so wish, it is anticipated that you will have the opportunity to work across two sectors each year. This current requirement will involve working as a Planner in a client-facing role, where you will be creating and managing detailed programmes using Primavera P6 software, progress monitoring and updating, earned value analysis, etc. To fit into this team, you'll need to be a positive individual with a "can do" attitude who is comfortable engaging with both clients and senior-level stakeholders.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following:

- Significant planning & project controls experience, ideally with time spent working on a rail project previously.

- Relevant engineering/construction-related degree.

- Proficient with Primavera P6 software.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Eligible to work in the UK.
