Project Planner

Small, Growing Consultancy - London

£45,000 - £50,000

We are currently partnering with a growing project management consultancy, who are looking for two Project Planners to join their London office. Our client is a small-to-medium sized firm with twenty employees in the UK across multiple locations. Formed ten years ago, they have ambitious plans for the future and following significant success on several major projects, are already expanding overseas. London is viewed as a key strategic office and these two individuals will be working in client-facing roles, concentrating on delivering planning services whilst developing the relationship with existing and potential clients.

Project involvement is extremely varied and can range from mainstream construction (i.e. commercial offices, schools, regeneration, etc) through to rail, civil engineering and process-led schemes; our client's challenge is finding individuals with the capability of adapting between projects in different sectors when required to do so. "Software jockeys" need not apply; this is a role that will need you to act as a "consultant" at all times and sitting in the corner, developing programmes is only half of the job.

This is a real opportunity to join a fresh-thinking and successful business at the early stages as they venture on an anticipated period of extreme growth. Every employee has a career development plan and training is offered throughout the year. Overseas opportunities may also be available in the future, depending on your preference.

Our client is seeking the following:

- Previous project planning experience on UK projects.

- Ideally a background in civil engineering or construction, although rail, defence, power, etc, will not be overlooked.

- A relevant degree is essential (i.e. engineering or construction).

- Personable, confident and outgoing personality.

- Relevant software experience (Primavera P6, Powerproject, etc)

- Eligible to work in the UK.

In return, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum plus benefits, including travel/allowance, pension and various other flexi benefits.

Apply now for immediate consideration or contact Richard Evans on 01189 881105 for further details.
