An Business information Architect with knowledge of the Functional and Application Architecture, Enterprise Architecture and Architecture rules and principles, and understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models.

Good understanding of at least 2 of the following derivative asset classes and their trade lifecycle :

o Interest Rate

o Equities

o Commodities

o FX

o Credit

Design-thinking skills

Knowledge of Data-modelling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level

Understanding of meta-models, taxonomies and ontologies

Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design

Presentation and facilitation skills

Ability to analyse project, program and portfolio needs, as well as to determine the resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome cross-functional barriers

Service Delivery focussed i.e. has the strategic objective in mind, but also is aware that architecture are providing a service to the project teams and must support them in their business delivery.

Demonstrate the ability to work well with others and be respected as a leader

Key Responsibilities:

The Business Information Architect participates in the coherence and durability of the entire Information System, in compliance with the Group’s business objectives and strategy, taking into account external and internal constraints (risks, costs, deadlines, etc.). Performed in compliance with architectural best practices, as well as rules and principles currently in force. S/he will assist with the preparation/development and implementation of studies, projects and portfolios throughout the life cycle of projects, and monitors their implementation.

Additional responsibilities:

Structures the information in the Information System, i.e. the way information is grouped, as well as the navigation methods and the terminology used within the Information Systems of the entity

Creates and manages data models in all their forms, including conceptual models, functional database designs, message models and others.

Allows people to step logically through the Information System, confident they are getting closer to the information they require

Ensure the good communication with the Data Architecture
