We have a great opportunity for a leading edge, innovative Electrical Design Engineer to join our client who has been at the forefront of technological innovation for over 55 years, and have two vacancies in this area due to strong growth. At their site in the Bristol area you will design products that offer world leading technology and innovation to prestigious research institutes and industrial companies globally.

The company push the limits of physics to make smaller, faster and more efficient semiconductors; micro-electromechanical systems capable of supporting R&D, and tools and systems that will bring next generation 2D materials into mainstream production. Their products range from compact stand-alone systems for R&D, through batch tools and up to clustered platforms for high-throughput production processing. The key markets worldwide include Optoelectronics, Sensors, Discrete Devices and Nanotechnology.

Their engineers are at the forefront of their achievements and the engineering team is active across the entire lifecycle of products. You will design electrical control solutions including the production of drawings, BOMs and supporting documentation. We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer who is:

* Committed to innovation, looking to drive improvements in everything they do

* Outwardly focused, capable of designing with service, manufacture and the whole product lifecycle in mind

* Capable of maintaining an awareness of trends and developments in their field, bringing these into their work and ensuring that Plasma Technology remains at the leading edge of world class design

* Degree qualified in a relevant electrical discipline and proficient in the use of AutoCAD
